Ticketing Information

What are the options when buying tickets?

Ticket sales coming soon! Tickets are ONLY available on our Eventbrite. Avoid SCAMS. DO NOT purchase tickets outside of Eventbrite. We do not allow reselling of tickets.

What is included in VIP ticket?

VIP includes:

  1. Preferred on-site parking.
  2. Select seating space for (1) chair per ticket in an area under a tent (chair not provided).
  3. Convenient Food and Beverage (F&B) Service at your seat (F&B is available for purchase at an additional cost)
  4. Artist photo opportunity.
  5. Private Charter Bus tour of the community with the Township Historian before the festival starts each day. (Registration required here)
What is included in General Admission ticket?

General Admission Ticket grants you entry to the event but doesn’t guarantee a specific seat or designated area. You’re free to move around the festival grounds and choose your own spot on a first-come, first-served basis. You may bring (1) chair per ticket. Spaces for tents will be sold as an add on at a later time.

What is the maximum number tickets that I can purchase?

Tickets are limited to four (4) per person.

Can I get a refund?

All sales are final.

Festival FAQs

When and where is the festival?

Live at Idlewild is held in Idlewild, MI at the Yates Township Hall complex – 6437 S Nelson Rd, Idlewild MI 49642. The festival takes place on June 28 & 29, 2025. You can purchase a 1 day ticket or a weekend pass for 2 days.

*NO CAMPING IS PERMITTED.

 *The event is rain or shine.

Is the festival all-ages?

Yes! Children ages 10 and under get in free to the General Admission section.
All ages must purchase a VIP ticket for VIP access.

  1. Children ages 10 and under are free admission with a General Admission ticket holder.
  2. Children must be accompanied by their parent at all times.
  3. Parent must provide proof of age (birth certificate or passport) upon entry.
  4. Children must be supervised at all times or parent and child(ren) will be asked to leave.
Is reentry allowed?

Yes. You will be allowed to enter and exit the festival. Please note, you will be required to properly scan your wristband out of the festival each time you exit.

Is there parking available?

Reserved onsite parking is for VIP ticketholders only. Free parking is available for general admission ticketholders within walking distance. RV Parking will be limited and sold as an add on.

Do you have chairs available?

No.

General Admission (GA) music festival ticket grants you entry to the event but doesn’t guarantee a specific seat or designated area. You’re free to move around the festival grounds and choose your own spot outside of the VIP area on a first-come, first-served basis. You may bring (1) lawn chair per ticket.  15×15 spaces for tents are sold as an add on here.

VIP Tickets: Includes select seating space for (1) chair per ticket in an area under a tent.

What kind of ID do I need?

You must have an ID ready to purchase or consume alcohol at the event.

  • Any US government-issued driver’s license or ID card containing a photograph and date of birth
    US or foreign government-issued passport containing a photograph and date of birth
  • Foreign government-issued driver’s license/ID with color photocopy of passport
  • Temporary DMV documents proving you are currently renewing a license—ONLY if accompanied by passport or expired license.

Security will accept expired ID cards ONLY if accompanied by DMV renewal documentation. If your ID was lost or stolen, you must bring a government-issued interim license or passport.

What items are allowed?
  • Small bags, backpacks, purses will be subject to security checks
  • Small coolers, wagons and carts
  • Earplugs
  • Fanny packs
  • Baby strollers
  • Binoculars
  • Lawn chairs
  • Blankets, sheets, towels
  • Cameras (no detachable lenses) – must be without equipment attachments such as camera stands, selfie sticks, tripods, and monopods
  • Hydration packs and water bottles, and plastic or aluminum water bottles
  • Rain ponchos / umbrella (hand-held ONLY and no bigger than 42 in. when open)
  • Personal misting fans
  • Sunscreen or bug repellant lotion (no aerosol)
What items are prohibited? (Violators will be subject to immediate removal.)
  • Aerosol containers, including sunscreen, insect repellant and personal beauty products
  • No candles or insence
  • Any and all professional audio recording equipment
  • Shoulder-mounted video cameras
  • Cameras with detachable lenses, camera stands, monopods, tripods, attachment sticks (selfie sticks) or other commercial equipment
  • Drones or any other remote flying device
  • Laser pointers
  • Tents and pop-up canopies (only allowed with advance reservations)
  • Illegal and illicit substances of any kind
  • Large purses, bags or backpacks 
  • Skateboards, scooters, bicycles, large wagons, large carts, or any personal motorized vehicles (with the exception of disability-related items)
  • Pets (except documented service animals on leash and supervised at all times)
  • Professional radios or walkie-talkies
  • Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors are not allowed
  • No solicitation and/or promotional materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, give-aways, samples, etc.
  • Weapons or explosives of any kind
  • Fireworks
  • Bicycles or motorized carts inside festival grounds
  • Grilling
  • Overnight camping
Can I distribute flyers inside the festival?

No printed materials, including flyers and stickers, may be distributed on the festival property (or cars parked within the grounds), without prior written consent from the organizers.

If I need medical attention at the festival, where should I go?

For immediate medical attention, please contact the first aid tent. (A festival map will be provided in an Eventbrite attendee email prior to the event.)

Is there a lost and found?

Yes. Please return any found items, and inquire about lost items, in the Customer Service tent. The tent also contains the first aid tent. Please check your site map for location. 

 

How can I apply for press credentials?

To apply for press and photo credentials, please email liveatidlewild@gmail.com. Walk-up requests for press/photo credentials will not be granted.

Is there transportation to the event?

Choose from day trips or overnight packages with roundtrip transportation, hotel stays, and a guided Idlewild tour—all organized by Small World Tours & Travel. Find out more here

Do I have to break down my tent every night?

1 Day attendees will have to pack up.
There is no attendee overnight camping.
The festival grounds will be cleared of people shortly after the event.

Weekend attendees may leave their tents overnight unattended, but please note that we are not responsible for any missing items or damages.

Can we stay in the RV all weekend?

RVs with confirmed ticket holders are allowed to stay overnight and 1 day stays must be gone by 7 a.m.
