Ticketing Information

Is there transportation to the event?

Yes! There is limited seating on our dedicated Charter Bus Transportation between Henry Ford Centennial Library in Dearborn and the Festival grounds. Bus boards at 6:30am in Dearborn and returns at 11:30pm. Arrival at Festival scheduled for 2 hours before first musical act. Advance tickets only – combination Bus and General Admission ticket available here. Relax, get in the mood and leave the driving to us!

What are the options when buying tickets?

Single-Day General Admission and VIP passes are available for purchase here. A combination ticket including A ticket combining a dedicated Charter Bus from Dearborn Michigan with a General Admission ticket is also available – limited quantity.

How can I upgrade to VIP?

Please contact us via email, liveatidlewild@gmail.com. You will also be able to upgrade at the Box Office on-site, if VIP is not sold out by the time of the event.

What is the maximum number tickets I can purchase?

Tickets are limited to four (4) per person.

Can I get a refund?

All sales are final.

Festival FAQs

When and where is the festival?

Live at Idlewild is held in Idlewild, MI at the Yates Township Hall complex – 6437 S Nelson Rd, Idlewild MI 49642. The festival takes place on June 29, 2024.

Festival hours are as follows:
Saturday, June 29: 1pm-8pm

Box Office and Gate hours
Saturday, June 29: 10am-7:00pm

Saturday, June 29: 10am-1:00pm

Idlewild Historic Bus Tours
Saturday, June 29: 9am, 10:15am, VIP ticket holders: 11:30am

Is reentry allowed?

Yes. You will be allowed to enter and exit the festival. Please note, you will be required to properly scan your wristband out of the festival each time you exit.

Is the festival all-ages?

Yes. Kids 10 and under enjoy free admission to the festival when accompanied by a parent.

What kind of ID do I need?

You must have an ID ready to purchase or consume alcohol at the event.

  • Any US government-issued driver’s license or ID card containing a photograph and date of birth
    US or foreign government-issued passport containing a photograph and date of birth
  • Foreign government-issued driver’s license/ID with color photocopy of passport
  • Temporary DMV documents proving you are currently renewing a license—ONLY if accompanied by passport or expired license.

Security will accept expired ID cards ONLY if accompanied by DMV renewal documentation. If your ID was lost or stolen, you must bring a government-issued interim license or passport.

What items are allowed?
  • Small bags, single-compartment backpacks, plush backpacks, purses (maximum 12″x12″)
  • Earplugs
  • Fanny packs
  • Gum (must be sealed upon entry)
  • E-cigs/vapes (no E-liquid or E-juice of any kind will be allowed)
  • Baby strollers
  • Binoculars
  • Lawn chairs
  • Blankets, sheets, towels
  • Cameras (no detachable lenses) – must be without equipment attachments such as camera stands, selfie sticks, tripods, and monopods
  • Empty CamelBak-type hydration packs and water bottles, and plastic or aluminum water bottles
  • Rain ponchos / umbrella (hand-held ONLY and no bigger than 42 in. when open)
  • Flags/banners or handmade signs (no corporate/company-branded materials, no hard flagpoles)
  • Hula hoops
  • Personal misting fan with bottle no larger than 1.5L (must be empty upon entering the event).
  • Sunscreen lotion
What items are prohibited?
  • Aerosol containers, including sunscreen and personal beauty products
  • Any and all professional audio recording equipment
  • Shoulder-mounted video cameras
  • Cameras with detachable lenses, camera stands, monopods, tripods, attachment sticks (selfie sticks) or other commercial equipment
  • Drones or any other remote flying device
  • Laser pointers
  • Coolers of any kind (exceptions may be made for medical use)
  • Framed backpacks
  • Tents and pop-up canopies of any kind
  • Glass and metal containers of any kind, except for aluminum water bottles
  • Illegal and illicit substances of any kind
  • Outside food or beverage (including alcohol)
  • Large purses, bags or backpacks (over 12″×12″)
  • Skateboards, scooters, bicycles, wagons, carts or any personal motorized vehicles (with the exception of disability-related items)
  • Pets (except documented service animals)
  • Professional radios or walkie-talkies
  • Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors are not allowed
  • No solicitation and/or promotional materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, give-aways, samples, etc.
  • Weapons or explosives of any kind
  • Fireworks
  • Bicycles inside festival grounds
  • Carts or wagons of any kind
Can I distribute flyers inside the festival?

No printed materials, including flyers and stickers, may be distributed on the festival property, without prior written consent from the organizers.

If I need medical attention at the festival, where should I go?

For immediate medical attention, please speak to the nearest security guard on-site. We also have a first aid tent on the grounds as well as EMS personnel to assist with your medical questions and/or needs.

Can I bring my medications?

Bring your medication in a prescription bottle with your name on the label.
– Be prepared to present a state-issued photo ID to match.
– The date on the container cannot be expired.
– Do not bring more meds than you need for the day, i.e. only bring the amount of dosage needed for the duration of the event as prescribed on the container.
– Do not bring more meds than you need for the day.
– Do not mix types of medication in one bottle.
– Syringes must be accompanied by prescription medication.
– Medicines needing to be inhaled or smoked are prohibited unless in a prescribed inhaler.
– Prescription medications are allowed in a sufficient supply for the day.
– Bottle contents will be verified by medical personnel at the entry gates.
– If you are at the gate and have medical questions or needs prior to entering the festival grounds, please ask to speak to any of our staff personnel and/or EMS.
– For more information while on the festival grounds, please speak to one of our staff personnel at the first aid tent on-site.

What if I have special dietary needs?

If you have special medical dietary restrictions, a personal amount of food will be allowed into the venue if accompanied by a doctor’s note.

Is there a lost and found?

Yes. Please return any found items, and inquire about lost items, in the Customer Service tent. The tent also contains the first aid tent and to the right when facing the stage.

For press and photo credential requests, please email liveatidlewild@gmail.com. Walk-up requests for press/photo credentials will not be granted.
